Bridge
 Opportunity House has two different social bridge games that play for fun and meet weekly. Partnership Bridge plays Mondays at 1 PM and Civic Bridge meets Wednesdays at 1 PM.
Calligraphy
 Classes on the Art of Beautiful Writing are available Tuesdays from 10am to 12 noon or from 1:00-3:00 PM in 4-week sessions. The cost is $65, or $55 member discount. For more information please stop by the front desk or call 692-0575.
Canasta
 Canasta, which originated in Uruguay in 1940 and then became as popular as bridge. Anyone interested in hosting Canasta group here with us...please contact the Opportunity House an express your interest today!!
Clogging
 Opportunity House has clogging lessons on Monday evenings starting at 6:30, beginners and intermediate.
Computer Classes
 COST: $40 per class or $30 member discount.
Each class limited to five (5) people.
Classes are held from 9:30 - 11:00 AM or from
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM . Must sign up and pay at least 24 hours before each class.

Golf League
 The Opportunity House Golf League is a co-ed league that plays at Crooked Creek Golf Club on Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings. League members can sign up for any one day or all three days if they wish. The season runs from the beginning of April to the end of October.

Lapidary
 The lapidary group meets every Wednesday and Friday mornings in the OH Lapidary Studio from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. For more information or to express interest, please call 692-0575.
Line Dancing
Line Dance Classes will resume in Sept 2011. Led by Nancy Glover, these popular classes meet Tuesday evenings. The Beginners class is held from 6:30 - 7:30 PM and the Intermediate class follows from 7:45 - 8:45 PM. The cost for an 8 week session is $56, or $48 member discount. Medical Testing
 Opportunity House sponsors low cost, affordable medical testing every Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 AM. Bloodwork is drawn by Linda Garren, Med Tech and sent to Quest Diagnostic Laboratories in Asheville. Test results drawn on Wednesdays are returned by Friday at 3 PM for pick up at the front desk or can be mailed when a self addressed, stamped envelope is provided.

Oil & Acrylics Painting
 Painting with oils & acrylics is led by instructor Linda Hendricks on Mondays from 12:00-3:00 PM in 6-week sessions and covers blending colors, brush techniques and perspective. A supply list is available at the front desk. The cost for each session is $85, or $70 member discount, plus the cost of supplies. To register, call 692-0575.
Pinochle
 Pinochle meets to play every Wednesday and Friday from 12:00-3:00 PM with play changing partners and tables after every game. For more information, please call Glenn Musser at 692-4774.
Poker
 Men's Poker welcomes anyone to play Mondays at 12:00 and 6:30 PM, as well as Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 12:00 PM. For more information, please call Sam Richardson at 698-2505.

Stained Glass
 Stained Glass classes are held Tuesdays from 1:00-4:00 PM led by instructor Cheryl Stippich. Classes focus on the copper foil method and are for beginners as well as for those wishing to refresh their skills. Students learn how to cut and fit glass, foil, solder and finish their own glass projects. The cost for an 8-week session of classes is $85; or $70 member discount. To register, please call 692-0575.
Watercolor Painting
 Beginning Watercolor Painting classes led by Diane Coleman are held Thursdays from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM in 6-week sessions. Cost is $85, or $70 member discount, plus the cost of supplies.
Advanced Watercolor Painting led by instructor Dick Kaiser is held Wednesdays from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in 6-week sessions. The cost is $90, or $75 member discount, plus the cost of supplies. Supply lists are available at the front desk.

Weaving
Weaving Studio time is available in our fully stocked weaving room. Then pay a $40 monthly studio fee. Available Mon. - Fri. 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Check in at the front desk is required.

Woodcarving
